Madagascar Dos

Jin is 16 months old now and we finally got up the courage to take him to see his first movie theatre movie. Just like a big boy! We went to see Madagascar II and it was hilarious. Ravi and I laughed through the entire movie. There is no way in heck that any kid under 18 would get like 30% of the jokes which made it even more funny. Jin was entranced. He was really good. He just sat there and stared, wide eyed, for about the first 35 minutes. Then he noticed the kid next to me had a little movie theatre snack pack and he kept reaching out and signing "please" and "more" for the stranger's food. Ravi indulged our little one and got him an identical pack. I ended up eating one and a half of the two bags of Fun Size M&M's and like 90% of the popcorn. Plus, I drank gulps of Jin's drink, thinking it would be root beer, but it was *GASP* Coca Cola. Why, oh why, did it have to be Coke?! I took a few more pulls of it, to make sure of course, and told Ravi. It was sad to see him go back to the snack bar and replace the Nectar of the Gods with Fruit Punch. I haven't had Coke in sooooooo long. Not since before I got pregnant with Jin. In fact, I've had excruciatingly little caffeine since then. A sip of Ravi's tea a few times, a sip of delicious coffee once or twice. That's it. I'm trying to be diligent about no caffeine while pregnant or nursing, so I guess I've signed myself up for like a decade of depression. And folks, please don't talk about stupid decaf crap. You KNOW that's not even close to what the real things taste like. Mmmm, Coke, Dr. Pepper, Coffee, Tea... you all are on my Christmas List for the year 2015!

Stay off the sauce!! I feel your pain, the only times I ever quit was during my pregnancies and nursing. I was always so sick, I was off everything for the first bit, but I was not a good nursing mom like you are, so that first time we would have a date night after nursing, I would always end the night back on the sauce!! So stay away from the brown stuff. :)

We really want to take the kids to the movies but we're too afraid. But you and Ravi have given us hope Chosun, so we will take them on our next day off. Maybe.
