On The Corpus Christi Bay

Ravi had a huge break in the middle of his day on Thursday so I drove the kids down to pick him up and we ate lunch in the car on the way to Padre Island to go to the beach.  It was really beautiful and Jin loved every second of it.  Sun Li was tolerant, which is all I ask for!  There was a great blue heron next to the pilings eating little fish out of the tide when we pulled up and Jin was pretty interested in seeing what this bird was made of.  Here is a picture of the stand off.

That bird didn't have a chance.

Jin then moved on to a smaller target.

Dumb sand piper.  No match for our little man.  Yeah, he ran away lickity split.
