Replaced By An Android
Ravi loves his phone. I like my phone, but Ravi lives for his phone. A common scene in our home after Ravi comes back from a long day/night at the hospital is him+phone+bowl of ice cream. This particular night I was in a state of indecision. We are currently renovating a large portion of the downstairs and I wanted his take on some things. He is sitting at the dinner table, phone in hand, studying it carefully. I ask a well thought out question to which he replied, "yeah babe, that sounds good." The only problem is that that response does not make sense with the question. So I say, "What? That doesn't make any sense to what I am asking." He knows he is caught and replies, "I mean, do what you think is best babe." Now I am really annoyed because he is still glued to that phone screen. So I call him out, "What the crap do you think I asked you?" He is laughing because he knows he's wrong. "Sorry babe. Ask me the question again." I begin to ask, but his eyes go from me back down to the phone!! I said, "Ravi, are you serious?!" Then he really started laughing. It was so funny. Am I being sarcastic? Damn you technology!

If you can't beat em join em. . .you should have texted him the question. It's possible that has happened at our house.
